In the quiet of Liska's Jewish cemetery, a man pours out his heart and soul in prayer at the grave of Hershel Lisker, also known as Tzvi Hersh Friedman. With heartfelt earnestness, he implores for a miracle of love, hope, and healing to embrace and uplift the whole community.

In the solemnity of his prayer, the man bows respectfully before the ancient tombstone, symbolically bridging the gap between the past and the present. The special place, the tomb of Rav Hershel Lisker - Tzvi Hersh Friedman in Liska Jewish Cemetery, is a kind of gateway to the Eternal, where prayers soar and meet in faith.

Each day, thousands of faithful individuals visit this holy site, experiencing the ongoing presence of Rebbe Tzvi Hersh Friedman’s spirit, which envelops those who pray for a message of hope and faith. Requests, wishes, blessings. In prayer, words transcend sound, becoming heartfelt emotions and deep desires that travel from the soul to the divine presence.

At the heart of Orthodox Jewish prayer is a plea for blessings upon the purity of childhood and healing for those who are ill. In the cemetery, the legacy of faith and tradition is upheld, uniting the deep reverence of bygone eras with the earnest prayers of the present.

The Kerestir Rebbe, Yeshaya Steiner, appeared here from time to time to pray and ask for a blessing at the grave of his great teacher, Hershel Lisker. His teacher played a crucial role in helping the Kerestir Rebbe's community maintain their traditions and remain steadfast in their faith during the most challenging times. In this sacred moment, where the man's heartfelt words echo deeply, the prayer forms a profound link between the past, present, and future, embodying the community's most earnest hopes and desires.
